How we work

The Daily Economy is an independent publication. We use AI tools to help research and draft articles, and every article is built on named, linked sources — official statistics, regulators, central banks and established news organisations. Key facts and figures are cross-checked in at least two independent sources before publication, and we show our calculations so you can check them yourself. You can read the full details in our editorial policy.

Independence

We are not paid by utilities, energy companies, banks or brokers to cover them, and we do not accept payment for positive coverage. The site may show advertising to cover its costs; ads are clearly separated from editorial content and never influence what we write.

What we are not

The Daily Economy provides general information for educational purposes. We are not financial advisers, and nothing on this site is personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See our disclaimer.
